Art as Therapy
So, I saw a video on Art Therapy, and it got me thinking.
The therapist mentions how art reveals your subconscious, so you can use art to tell your conscious mind what it doesn't know yet. Well, about 2 years ago I learned that I've lost my sense of vestibular balance, which causes a variety of problems that I have been struggling with. The thing is, I made a bunch of artwork about balance before I consciously knew I had this problem, and before the problem fully developed.

Irma Update
Irma looks to be striking me soon, with the tropical storm force winds that precede the storm expected any minute now. My location has a 90% chance for hurricane force winds (>74mph). Storm surge is projected to be up to 15 feet (with a 10% chance to be above that). If the storm surge is above 15 feet there is a good chance my house will take on some water, depending on the tide and numerous factors.
My house is fairly new, so it should meet recent codes on withstanding hurricanes. The walls have a core of cinder blocks, so they are quite sturdy/heavy. I've got heavy metal hurricane shutters up. As long as I don't get hit by a torna
