The clanging of a heavy ratchet along with the sounds of scraping metal echo loudly throughout the arena.

The dragon claws the ground as he waits for the portcullis to slowly rise.

Ragnor Krugarson of Clan Uthgor flexes his powerful muscles as he stands to meet the dragon's charge.

Meanwhile, Éowen Nimblefingers makes off with the captive princess.

This is awesome! :)

I really like the names you made - I play a Rogue in Pathfinder - we really do have more fun :)

Neat.  I play Pathfinder too.  I've played a few untrustworthy rogues, but I'm more of the wizard type, like D34DLY in this comic www.thenoobcomic.com/index.php…

LOL that was a good find - thanks for sharing :)

Our Pathfinder group is a bit off the beaten path. Our barbarian has a doctorate in smashing and smushing. Our sorcerer likes to tumble and do jazz hands while casting spells for entertainment value. I'm a bipolar -gother-than-drow half elf/half sylvan who is a better thief when she is depressed and a general sociopathic happy little maniac killing machine when she is perky

Have you ever read Order of the Stick?

I've read a lot of the Order of the Stick, but not all of them.  I was just thinking about reading the whole lot of them a few days ago.

I can't read web comics on the web - so lucky writers have me buying their collections

OOTS was my first web comic - I have all the books and the game (which no one ever wants to play because it takes 5 hours). I do enjoy the characters and the sort of tropism they embody. I also like how it just went from a parody strip to this epic campaign tale. He just kickstarted for book reprints so go him I guess.

Rich Burlew lives about a half hour from me from what I can deduce. He is a bit of an enigma - not really going to cons and the like. I think I know where his office is located - I have always wanted to leave a cupcake at his door with a note that says 'Thanks'

Note left with cupcake:  "Hi.  I just love your work.  I've been stalking you for a while now, but I've finally got the courage to leave you a gift to thank you for all your work.  Hugs and kisses.  I'll be watching, to see if you eat it.  And don't worry, it isn't poisoned or doused with roofies or anything like that.  Best wishes, your Ninja Fan."

I'm up to #292.  The kickstarter raked in over a million.

Thanks.  I wanted to make a scene where the damsel in distress was actually getting rescued for a change.
